A pedestrian has been knocked down on Woolsack drive in Rosebank near the University, leaving him with various injuries.
The man was found to have sustained extensive head injuries and the Life LSU paramedics took over his treatment. Along with ER24 paramedics, the patient was stabilised at the scene and the man in his 30’s was then taken to the Groote Schuur Hospital by ambulance.
The occupants of the light motor vehicle that collided with the pedestrian were fortunately not injured and they provided assistance to the patient while waiting for medical personnel to arrive.
