Three People Injured In Woodstock Station Incident

Three people have been injured including a train driver after a passenger train carriages caught alight while entering the Woodstock Station yesterday afternoon.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the local Fire Department trying to extinguish the flames from the carriages. Two commuters both women were found seated on the platform some distance away from the incident. ER24 paramedics assessed the patients and found that one person had a broken leg and suspected neck and back injuries. Advanced Life Support intervention was performed on the patient. The second patient was treated for soft tissue injury. The train driver was treated for smoke inhalation. All three patients were transported to various hospitals in the area for further medical care.

It is unclear how the fire started by the necessary authorities was on the scene and would investigate the incident further. It is believed that the two patients jumped from the train as it entered the station when the fire started.
