Incident Time: 16H00
A single vehicle accident on the N4 between Cullinan and DonkerHoek, has left two people dead and three others in a critical condition this afternoon.

Emergency personnel arrived on the scene and found the light motor vehicle off to the side of the road and up against a tree. Paramedics assessed the patients who were entrapped inside the vehicle and found that two people had already succumbed to their injuries and were declared deceased on scene. The other three occupants were in a critical condition and needed Advanced Life Support intervention to help stabilise the three patients. The patients were treated for multiple broken bones and possible internal injuries.

AER24 was called to airlift one of the patients to hospital for rapid medical care, while the other two patients were transported by road for further medical care. The circumstances around the accident were unclear but the local authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further.
