A man sustained serious injuries after his vehicle left the road and smashed into the bush on the M4 south near the Umhlanga off-ramp. The cause to the driver losing control will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the driver still seated in the wreckage. After he was stabelised on scene, they transported the man to the Netcare Umhlanga hospital for the care that he required.
