3 People Injured In Effingham Road Accident

Paramedics responded to an accident in Effingham Road, just off North Coast Road at 14:30 today.

On arrival, paramedics found two vehicles that had collided with each some distance apart. A check of the occupants of a municipal bakkie established that the two occupants sustained moderate injuries while the driver of white minivan also sustained moderate injures. All 3 patients were stabilised before being transported to Ethekwini Hospital for further medical care by Crisis Medical ambulance.

From on scene reports, it is suggested that the driver of the municipal bakkie failed to see the stationary minivan causing the rear end collision.

Local law enforcement members were on scene determine the exact cause.
