A female in her forties is fighting for her life after she was struck by a car along Belcker Road Bloemfontein this evening. Reports indicate that the female was trying to cross the road when she landed in front of a vehicle that came hurtling down the road.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene at around 20h20 and found the patient lying on the roadway unresponsive. After placing her on a ventilator and deftly immobilizing her on a trauma board, they transported her to a local hospital for the care that they required.
