Collision On The M19 Leaves Two People Injured

A collision on the M19 Durban bound between Blair Atholl and the Mount Batten Drive involving two light motor vehicles has left two people with moderate injuries this morning.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found one of the motor vehicles in the centre medium on its side facing Pinetown bound, while the second car was down the road in the left hand lane of the highway. Paramedics assessed the patients and found the driver of the first car had suspected neck and back injuries and minor cuts. The other driver had sustained general body pains. Both drivers were stabilised on scene and transported to various hospitals in the area for further medical care accident.

The necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further. Traffic was affected on both sides of the highway.
