Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident scene on the N14 between Malibongwe Drive and Beyers Naude Drive.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a light delivery vehicle pulling a caravan had overturned. The vehicle and scattered remains of the caravan were found on the centre island between the two roads.
A thirty-nine-year old man and a ten-year-old boy were ejected from the vehicle and died on impact.
A female occupant and another young boy sustained serious injuries and after receiving treatment on scene, they were transported to a nearby medical facility for further medical care.
Exact details to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
