Phoenix Collision Leaves 15 People Injured

Crisis Medical paramedics attended to an accident at the intersection of Stronebridge Drive and the R102 in Phoenix today at 13:30.

On arrival, paramedics found that 2 vehicles and a taxi had collided in the intersection resulting in a number of people being injured. Along with other services, Crisis Medical established that 15 people had been injured with a variety of injuries. One person was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated by eThekwini Fire & Rescue using the jaws of life. All of the injured were transported by ambulance surrounding local hospitals.

From on scene reports, it is unclear what caused the collision between the vehicles but it is suggested that a errant drive tried to cross the intersection when it was not his turn causing the collision.
