Netcare 911 paramedics, its rescue unit and other services responded to an accident scene on Bellairs Drive in Randburg this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a minibus taxi had collided with a motor vehicle. The minibus proceeded to collide with a streetlight pole and came to a rest against a wall. Exact details to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unclear.
A female was injured during the accident and was transported to a nearby provincial hospital for further care.
No other injuries were reported.
