Seven people were seriously injured after a head-on collision in Pansy Street Springs this afternoon at 16h00. Reports from the scene indicate that a car and a double cab 4 X 4 collided along Pansy Street, the one vehicle then lost control and rolled down a steep embankment.
Netcare 911 paramedics clambered down the embankment with their equipment to stabilize the injured. After they were treated and immobilized, the patients were carried up to the roadway. After all the injured were stabilized on scene, medics transported them to various hospitals in the area for the care that they required.
