Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident scene on the R614 near Tongaat last night after a motorcycle accident.
Upon their arrival on scene, they found a thirty-year-old man sustained critical injuries.
After the man was skilfully immobilised and placed on a ventilator, he was transported to the Nkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital for further medical care.
Exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
