Three people have sustained moderate to serious injuries after a collision involving three light motor vehicles on Frans Conradie Drive in the Bellville area this morning.
ER24 paramedics along with other emergency personnel arrived on the scene and found the three vehicles in the road and few meters apart with extensive damage to all three light motor vehicles. The road had to be closed while emergency personnel were on scene.
Three people were assessed by the ER24 paramedics and treated for suspected neck and back injuries and cuts and abrasions. One person required Advanced Life Support intervention for further stabilisation. All three patients were treated on scene and transported to various hospitals in the area for further medical care.
The circumstances around the accident would be investigated by the local authorities.
