A biker is fighting for his life in a Durban hospital after he was struck by a vehicle along Kingsway Road in Amanzimtoti this afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that two cars and a bike had collided opposite halls hardware. The biker was flung off his bike and was found lying in a side road with life threatening injuries.
After the patient was stabelised and skillfully immobilized on a trauma board, medics transported him to a Netcare hospital in Durban for the care that he required.
