Crisis Medical paramedics responded to reports of an accident on the M41 East bound by the Flanders Drive exit at 08:20 this morning.
First on scene, paramedics found a VW Golf lying on its side. The vehicle was assessed and it was found that the driver of the car has sustained minor injuries. He was stabilised and transported to a local hospital by ambulance for further medical care.
At this stage it is unknown what caused the vehicle to lose control and will be the subject of a police investigation.
Traffic was disrupted as personnel worked to clear the scene.
