A pedestrian believed to be his mid-twenties has died after being knocked down by a light motor vehicle on Atlas Road close to the R21 Highway in Bonaero Park, Kempton Park this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the man lying in the road with the car just a few meters away. The paramedics assessed him and found he had suffered very traumatic and fatal injuries and was declared deceased on scene. The driver of the light motor vehicle was unharmed I the accident.
The necessary authorities were notified of the incident and would investigate the accident further.
