Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on Hinda Street in Roodepoort last night.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motorcycle collided with a motor vehicle. The seventeen-year-old motorcyclist sustained critical injuries. A female passenger of the motor vehicle was also seriously injured.
Both injured people were treated on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
