Toyota South Africa awards first female top dealer

Des Wiseman has been awarded the Toyota Dealer of the Year award 2012.

Imperial Toyota Kempton Park was awarded the coveted Toyota Dealer of the Year award at the gala event held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. The award was accepted by Desiree Wiseman, the first female Dealer Principal to win this award.

The Imperial Toyota Kempton Park dealership has been operating from their new site for two years. Desiree Wiseman is an impressive leader as she is intimately involved in all areas of the business yet still allows her management team to lead their own departments.

Dr Johan van Zyl, President and CEO of Toyota South Africa Motors commended Imperial Toyota on their achievement.

Imperial Toyota Kempton Park was awarded with two more awards at the gala event namely Vice President’s Award: Vehicle Marketing and the President’s Award for the best performing dealership in the Large category. This proves that the Desiree and her team area making huge strides in sales and continue to improve their performance.

NTT Toyota Barberton was recognised at a gala evening on 8 March with the Toyota Financial Services CEO Award after growing their vehicle finance market share significantly. Toyota Financial Services financed 73% of NTT Toyota Baberton’s 2012 new Toyota retail sales and 69% of their Automark sales, concluding in excess of R100 Mil worth of new business during 2012.

Dealer Principal, Dirk Kotze and his team at NTT Toyota Barberton, deliver on Toyota Financial Services’ commitment to convenient, fast and flexible service to Toyota customers and achieved a benchmark customer service rating.

Various awards were handed out throughout the evening including Vice President’s awards. The Hino, Lexus and Lexus Financial Services Dealer of the Year awards were also awarded at the event.

Guests at the gala evening were treated to entertainment from artists including Bianca le Grange, Letoya Mangezi, Elvis Blue, Timothy Moloi and Shaun V. The evening also celebrated an unequalled 33 years of market leadership in South Africa.
