Crisis Medical paramedics responded to a 8 pile on the M4 south bound at Virginia Airport at 08:30 this morning.
First on scene, paramedics began checking each vehicle for any injured occupants. It was established that only 1 person sustained minor injuries who was treated on scene.
From on scene reports, it is believed that an errant driver applied their brakes suddenly causing following vehicles to collided into one another.
Traffic was severely disrupted at the M4 was closed to allow for the recovery of vehicles.
