Bike accident leaves 2 injured

Rescue Care paramedics were called to a motor bike collision on the corner of Caversham Road and Underwood Road in Pinetown just after 1pm on Sunday 14 April 2013.

On arrival paramedics found that a car and a bike had collided in the junction. A quick assessment revealed that two occupants had been on the bike at the time of the collision and were injured. Paramedics worked to stabilize them on the scene before transporting them to a local hospital for the further care that they required.

It is unclear what caused the collision however it is suspected an errant party disregarded a traffic signal.

The necessary authorities were on the scene and will be investigating the accident further.
