Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on William Nicol Drive in Diepsloot this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a minibus had overturned. Thirty people were injured of which twenty nine were children. Two people sustained serious injuries and twenty eight sustained minor to moderate injuries.
After all the injured were treated on scene, they were all transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
