A biker is fighting for his life after he collided with a taxi along Argyle Road in Durban this morning. Reports indicate that the taxi and the bike collided before the biker lost control, veered off the road, and smashed into a light pole.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the biker lying supine on the roadway with the wreckage of his bile scattered over several meters. Medics worked fervently to stabilize the critically injured man on scene, after he was placed on a ventilator and deftly immobilized on a trauma board; medics transported the man to Addington hospital for the care that he required.
