Morning collision on the corner of Booth Road and Bellair Road leaves 6 injured


Just after 8am this morning Rescue Care Paramedics were called to a collision on the corner of Booth Road and Bellair Rd.

On arrival paramedics found that two vehicles had collided in the junction. A quick assessment revealed that a total of six people had sustained various injuries. More ambulances were called to assist with the multiple patient accident. All of the injured were then stabilized on the scene before being transported to various hospitals for the further care that they required.

It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating.

Traffic was severely affected from all directions as emergency officials worked to clear the scene .
