On arrival paramedics found a critically injured 40 year old man lying in the road way. The man was stabilised and treated for a broken leg and chest injuries before being transported by Crisis Medical ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
On scene reports suggest that the man was struck by a speeding vehicle which then failed to stop. SAPS were on scene to investigate the incident.
