Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident at the intersection of Church Street and Suid Street in Polokwane this morning.
Upon their arrival at the scene they found that a light delivery vehicle and a minibus collided resulting in fifteen people being injured. Five people sustained serious injuries and ten people sustained moderate injuries.
After the injured were treated on scene they were transported to nearby medical facilities for further medical care.
Exact details to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
