Although there is no right or wrong area where you can place your vehicle sticker, we recommend it to be placed above or below your vehicle’s license disc. The reason for this is that law enforcement and emergency personnel usually look for the license disc as the details need to be captured on the accident record.
The only downfall is that we never really know who is on the medical aid as indicated on the sticker, was it a previous owner’s sticker, did the driver perhaps borrow the vehicle from a friend, etc.
We recommend that you always keep your medical aid card in your wallet. We have even seen people in the past that made a photocopy of their medical aid card and attached a small id photo on it; they then leave it in the glove compartment of the car.
