Woman Crashes Into Tree In Johannesburg East during early morning

A woman believed to be in her early thirties has suffered moderate injuries after loosing control of her vehicle and collided with a tree on Elizabeth Road in Impala Park in the early hours of this morning.

On arrival, ER24 paramedics found the patient, the only occupant in the car to be entrapped. The Jaws of Life and other rescue equipment was used to extricate the driver from the car. Once freed, the patient was transported by ER24 to Life The Glynwood Hospital in a stable condition.

The circumstances to the woman losing control was unclear and would be investigated by the local authorities.
