2 Injured In Queen Nandi Drive Smash

Crisis Medical Paramedics responded to reports of a collision in the intersection of Queen Nandi Drive and Avoca Hills Drive at around 19:00 this evening.

First on arrival, paramedics found that a mini-bus taxi and a sedan vehicle had collided in a side impact manner. The occupants of the vehicles were assessed and it was found 2 people had sustained moderate injury. Both patients were carefully stabilised on scene before being transported by Crisis Medical ambulance to a local hospital for further medical care.

From on scene reports, it is believed an errant driver attempted to jump a red traffic signal before colliding with an oncoming vehicle however SAPS were on scene to determine the exact cause.
