Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a shooting incident on Allandale Road this evening.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a twenty-two-year old man was seriously injured during the shooting incident.
After he was treated and stabilised on scene, he was transported to a nearby medical facility for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
