Durban bus accident leaves thirteen injured

Thirteen people were injured after a passenger bus overturned in the Inanda area near Durban this afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.

Netcare 911 paramedics, S A P search and rescue and the provincial services arrived at the scene and found that the bus had rolled down an embankment coming to rest about fifty meters from the roadway. After investigation they found that there were twenty one people on the bus, thirteen people sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.

After the injured were stabelised on scene, the provincial paramedics transported them to various hospitals in the area for the care that they required.
