Three die in Northern Cape crash 10 kilometres outside of Danielskuil

[R31, Danielskuil NC 27 May 2013 07:50]

Two women and a man have been killed after the vehicle that they were travelling in rolled down an embankment. The Toyota Corolla was travelling on the R31, when approximately 10 kilometres outside of Danielskuil from Kuruman the vehicle rolled off the road.

Paramedics on scene explained that the vehicle rolled quite a distance down the embankment, and all five of the vehicle’s occupants were ejected. The two surviving occupants had suffered minor and moderate injuries and the young woman and man were transported to hospital by the local provincial services team. ER24 paramedics pronounced the three remaining occupants dead on scene. All of the occupants are believed to have been aged between 25 and 30 years old.

This appeared to have been a single vehicle accident and the reason as to why the vehicle left the road and rolled down the embankment is still under investigation by local authorities.
