Rescue Care attended two collisions in the Pinetown area today which caused major delays.

Firstly paramedics were called to the M7 Pinetown just before Hans Dettman Highway for a collision involving two cars and a truck. On arrival paramedics found that the two patients had sustained various injuries. One patient was transported to hospital for further care whilst the other refused medical treatment. Traffic was severely affected whilst emergency personal worked to clear the scene.

Shortly after this collision paramedics responded to yet another truck accident on the M13 Durban bound at the bottom of fields hill. On arrival paramedics found that a truck had somehow lost control and overturned down the embankment. One patient sustained minor injuries however refused further medical attention. Traffic was severely affected as only one lane was open.

The necessary authorities were on both these scenes and will be investigating further.
