Crisis Medical Paramedics responded to an industrial accident on North Coast Road at 16:30 today.
On arrival paramedics found two badly injured workers lying next to an overturned trailer and container. Paramedics immediately set to work to stabilise both men before fully immobilising the workers. Once stable, both men were transported to Ethekwini Hospital by Crisis Medical ambulance for further medical care.
On scene reports suggest that the container was being attended to when suddenly the weight shifted and caused the trailer and container to overturn however this will be investigated by SAPS.
