Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian incident on the N3 near the Marydale off-ramp in KZN this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a seventy-year-old man sustained serious injuries after he was knocked over by a motor vehicle.
After the man was treated and stabilised on scene, he was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
