A passenger believed to be in his late thirties had sustained moderate injuries after the car he was traveling in on Ethelbert Road in Malvern veered off the road and landed into a sports field in the early hours of this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the light motor vehicle in the middle of the field with extensive damage all around the vehicle. The passenger was found walking around on scene near to the car.
Paramedic’s assessed the patient and found he had sustained multiple cuts to his face and arms and was treated for suspected neck and back injuries due to the damage of the car. The patient was stabilised and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care. The driver is believed to have absconded from the scene.
The necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further
