Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian incident on Beach Road in Warner Beach, Amanzimtoti this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a man, believed to be in his thirties, sustained serious injuries after he was knocked over by a minibus.
After the man was treated and stabilised on scene, he was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
