ER24 Durban crew were called out to a patient who was in labour at a fast food outlet in Durban CBD this afternoon.
On arrival the patient was in labour and our crew took quick measures in helping deliver a healthy baby girl. Both mom and baby were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The patient was buying food when she felt she was going into labour. She thought she had enough time to get to the hospital but the contractions were to close.
