Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident at the intersection of Rand Show Road and Aerodrome Drive in Aeroton, Johannesburg this evening.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a minibus and motor vehicle collided and that a pedestrian had also been knocked over.
Tragically one person lost their life. Nine people sustained serious injuries and two people sustained minor to moderate injuries.
After the injured were treated on scene, they were transported to nearby medical facilities for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
