Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Dr Belcher Road in Bloemfontein this morning before 08h00.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motor vehicle and minibus collided. Tragically three people lost their lives, one person sustained critical injuries and two people were seriously injured.
After the injured people were treated on scene, they were transported to nearby hospitals for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
