Dangerous driving by buses in the Free State caught on camera

Bus GBJ 124 FS Passing two vehicles on double solid lines at hi speed

We would like to share an email sent to the Arrive Alive road safety website earlier today. It reads as follows:

On the 10th of July at approximately 13H20 I was travelling from Bethlehem to Bloemfontein and on the road between Bethlehem and Paul Roux I experienced a incident where two government owned buses ( BGJ 123 FS and BGJ 124 FS) fully loaded with kids passed me at a very high speed, both of them taking this action at double solid lines. Attached are photos my passenger took with her cellphone when this happened. There was a very strong wind, right from behind, and these two driver were taking full advantage of this to help them driving these big vehicles at there maximum speed. This is very dangerous and life threatening for the occupants of these two buses. Please investigate and give me feedback in what action is going to be taken.

Speed on my speedometer at time when bus BBJ 123FS (photo 3) passed me on double solid lines

Both these two busses were fitted with red numbers on number plate indicated that it is government owned vehicles.”

This has been referred to the National Traffic Call Centre for their attention!
