Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Turton Road in Daveyton this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a minibus had overturned resulting in eight people sustaining injuries.
Four people sustained serious injuries, while four people sustained minor to moderate injuries.
After the injured were treated on scene, they were transported to nearby medical facilities for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
