Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the N1 north bound near Lenasia this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a minibus had overturned resulting in fourteen people being injured. Seven people sustained serious injuries while the other seven people sustained minor to moderate injuries.
After the injured people were treated on scene, they were transported to various hospitals in the area for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
