Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the N1 south bound near the Rigel off-ramp in Pretoria, this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motorcycle had rear-ended a motor vehicle. The man and woman travelling on the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and after they were treated on scene, they were transported to a nearby medical facility for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
