Three people were seriously injured after a B M W overturned on the N2 South near Winklespruit this afternoon. Reports indicate that the vehicle was traveling North bound at around15h00 when it veered off the road and rolled down an embankment , the wreckage coming to rest in the centre median next to the South bound lane.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the three seriously injured females lying on the grass near the wreckage. After they were stabelised on scene paramedics transported them to the Prince Mshiyeni hospital for the care that they required.
