Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the R23 near Geluksdal, Brakpan this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a light delivery vehicle and motor vehicle collided resulting in ten people sustaining serious injuries.
After all the injured were treated on scene, they were transported to various medical facilities for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
