Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on the R42 near Vereeniging this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a light delivery vehicle and truck collided head-on. The fifty-year-old driver of the light delivery vehicle tragically lost his life during the accident.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
