A biker has sustained serious injuries after colliding with a truck this afternoon on Booth Road near Bellair Road just after 2pm.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on the scene to find a biker in a serious condition in severe pain. Paramedics immediately began stabilizing the injured biker. Advanced Life Support intervention was required to assist in stabilizing the biker. He had sustained serious fractures and special equipment was used to minimise movement. Once the patient was stabilized he was transported to a nearby hospital for further care that he required.
It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
