Collision at the corner of Booth Road and Bellair Road leaves four injured, 1 serious

Rescue Care paramedics were called to a serious collision at the corner of Booth Road and Bellair Road just after 8pm last night.

On arrival paramedics found that two vehicles had collided in the junction. Both vehicles were severely damaged from the impact. Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that a family with two young children had been in the one car and the driver from the other vehicle had all sustained injuries. One patient had sustained serious injuries and was stabilized on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital by ER24. The other injured were also stabilized on the scene and transported by Rescue Care to a nearby hospital for further care.

It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
