A man was found deceased inside his bakkie on the R26 approximately 15 kilometres before Fouriesburg travelling from the Ficksburg direction.
It is not clear as to what took place, but when paramedics arrived on scene they found the adult man inside the vehicle still sitting in the driver seat of the white Corsa bakkie. They suspected that the vehicle may have rolled, but there was not much damage to the vehicle and it had come to rest on its wheels.
The man showed no signs of life and he was declared dead.
The local authorities attended the scene and it will be determined upon investigation as to what exactly took place.
