Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Ontdekkers Road in Roodepoort this evening.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that two motor vehicles collided resulting in six people, including three children, sustaining serious injuries.
After they were treated on scene, they were transported to a nearby medical facilities for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
